Become a Rise Scholar at Chicago State University
Whether you’re already accepted to Chicago State or still looking at where to apply, Rise Academy is a unique opportunity only for CSU freshmen. Once accepted at CSU, you can enroll as a Rise Scholar and be equipped with the financial resources and dedicated on-campus support systems you need to succeed during your first year of college.
Rise Scholars can earn:
Free tuition and fees scholarship*
4-year personal laptop
Free textbooks
Dedicated Rise Academy advisor
*The Rise Academy scholarship is applied after accounting for other scholarships and aid (such
as the Pell grant).
This scholarship does not cover room and board expenses.
